- 30 minutes of high-level Technician time to gather symptom data, test drive the vehicle, raise the vehicle on a lift, connect diagnostic hardware, pull stored codes, research stored codes, and/or to provide "next steps" to resolve the vehicle's condition. This is NOT a FULL DIAGNOSTIC – this is just a 30 minute assessment to determine the full scope of work involved with resolving the vehicle's issue(s). Includes basic inspection, visual , and retrieval of 1-2 trouble codes from the ECU. Examples of this type of testing might include one of the following systems on your car: Alternator, Battery, Starting System, Brakes, Basic Electrical Circuits (lights, horn, signals, wipers), Cooling System, Driveshaft and Axles, Electric Cooling Fan, Fan Blower, Fluid Leaks, Heater, Engine Noises, Steering Linkage (tie rods, idler arm, rack), Suspension (shocks, struts, tires, wheels), Vibrations, and others.
- PURGE CONTROL SOLENOID – Remove & Replace
- One or more of the evaporative emission control devices has failed, this test will reveal any leaking or otherwise inoperative parts and allows technicians to determine the proper course of action to be recommended.
